Absolutely Nothing Makeup + Autumn Appropriate Makeup

Hello, darlings!

I’ve been very lazy with my makeup recently, mostly because I haven’t been going or doing that much, so I keep sporting the practically nothing type of makeup. Can you see the difference between the two faces below? I look scarier on the left, and the right is less scary since it’s more polished and relatively pretty. :P

I kept it pretty minimal. I think the most important bits for a no makeup makeup look are the skin and the eyes. Evening out the skin and having polished brows or brighter eyes helps emphasize your natural beauty and whatnot.

The products I used are:

Smashbox Photofinish Primer – I still need to prime my skin ’cause I have oily skin, so anything I put onto it tends to move if i don’t.

L’oreal Lumi Magique Highlighting Concealer – I placed it under my eyes, on my cheekbones and on the bridge of my nose to brighten and highlight them subtly.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – Just on the areas that need covering like dark circles, pigmentation and blemishes. Skip foundation and let your skin breathe a bit.

K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow Pen – This stuff is awesome for flicking on fake hairs on your brows for a natural look. And it’s waterproof!

Benefit They’re Real Mascara – After curling your eyelashes, use mascara to define your lashes and make them pretty and fluttery to really open up your eyes.

Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes Eyeliner in 23L – It’s more subtle than a white or flesh toned color on your waterline, but it really brightens and widens the eyes.

Benefit Posie Tint Lip and Cheek Stain – I alternate between the three (ChaCha Tint and the classic Benetint), but they all do the same thing: it gives a nice flush to the lips and cheeks for a pretty glow.

And that’s pretty much it! If you think that’s a lot of products, it’s really not. It still takes quite a bit to give the illusion of nothingness on your face. But, if you’re lucky and you don’t need makeup at all, work it girl! :D

On days when I want to go out and put on a full face of makeup, this is the look that I like to sport. I did this on the same day, so I just layered the products I used for this look over the one in the previous look.

The products that I used are:

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Tawny – I just used a beauty blender to make it look less cakey.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette (Foxy, Tease, Snakebite) – I used these colors to define my eyes a bit more but still keeping it simple.
L’oreal Superliner Liquid Eyeliner Pen – I defined my upper lashline and winged it out slightly to widen the eyes.
MAC Blush in Breath of Plum – This color complements the lip color well and is a pretty plum flush on the cheeks.
Estee Lauder Plum Lip Liner – Not sure if that’s the shade, but it’s dark and I just lined my lips with it.
Maybelline The Jewels Lipstick in Refined Wine – I love this ’cause it stains the lips so it’s long lasting, it’s really creamy, gives a nice sheen to the lips, and wears really well.
If you guys are wondering where my sweater is from, it’s from my friend’s online store, and I’ll be doing a post about our recent shoot pretty soon!
That’s pretty much it for this autumn post. I know we don’t have autumn in our country, but that shouldn’t stop me from being relatively trendy, right? I hope you guys liked this quick one. Leave me a comment below what your favorite lip color for autumn is. :)
With love,
