I just took bits on the side and pinned it to the back. I am also wearing the khaki polo top that I featured in my Cotton On Haul.

I used the Braun Satin Hair 7 Curling Iron which I used for the second time ever, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. It’s pretty good because it heats up pretty quickly, it curls really well and it does make my hair a bit shinier. The only problem I have with it is that it doesn’t hold a curl. My hair is usually very stubborn and heat styling tools usually don’t work on me, but I was slightly disappointed when I finished curling my whole head and when I checked everything, some of the curls were gone.

Maybe I’m just not used to using tools on my hair anyway and it’s new so I haven’t figured it out yet? I put enough hair spray on it though… I dunno. If you guys have any tips on how to hold a curl, please leave them in the comments below. I kinda wish I went for the Babyliss one instead, but this is what my aunt gave me.

With love,

Julia

  1. My hair doesn’t hold a curl unless I fill it with product – dry shampoo works best for me, and the Tres Semme hairspray’s good because you can use it before styling to add guts to your hair. It feels awful though, like sticky straw.

Yeah, my Tresemme hairspray feels a bit crispy, too. But the hairspray before styling sounds like a good idea, maybe I’ll go give it a try. Thank you for the tips, dear! :D
